In the vicinity of Sund, one can find a surplus of fresh water lakes.

‘Solbjørn’ lake is surrounded by majestic mountains and has an abundant supply of trout. It is possible here to rent boats and cabins by the water.

Fishing permits are obtainable through Flakstad Jeger og Fiskeforrening. (Flakstad Hunting and Fishing Association).
